Upon concluding his professional baseball career, Brian landed a coveted position with esteemed nightlife innovators, the Gerber Group. During his tenure with the company, Brian was integral to the success, as opening General Manager, of Stone Rose Lounge in Manhattan’s Time Warner Center.
In 2009, Brian, with wife Carrie Packin and financial partner Dave Nader, launched City Nights Hospitality and its flagship location, 48LOUNGE, within Rockefeller Center’s McGraw-Hill Building. In its first year, 48LOUNGE was awarded the Zagat Award of Excellence, ranking 6th out of 1400 lounges throughout NYC, amongst Daniel, Jean-Georges, and the Gotham Bar & Grill. Most recently, 48LOUNGE won The Concierge Choice Award for Best Lounge in NYC.
In 2015, Brian and City Nights Hospitality were asked by world-renowned developers The Related Companies to join the distinguished Time Warner Center restaurant and bar collection, as Operating Partner and Creator of the Award Winning Ascent Lounge.
City Nights Hospitality’s success and numerous accolades can be directly attributed to Brian’s multi-faceted experience within up-market nightlife and dining, as well as his exceptionally high standards for product and service quality.
Carrie’s poise, aesthetic sensibilities, and marketing skills have proven invaluable to the successful branding and growth of City Nights Hospitality. As the driving force behind branding, marketing, and design, Carrie also oversees product concepts for menus, cocktail, and food, as well as venue decor and service presentation.
Formerly a FIT Model and Fashion Consultant for major retailers, including Banana Republic, Nicole Miller, and Ann Taylor, she maintains relationships throughout the fashion industry. Carrie’s extensive network within the entertainment industry and experience in production have all helped attract its consistently trendsetting, sophisticated, and discerning clientele.
Dave Nader, Co-Founder and Partner of City Nights Hospitality, brings invaluable business resources and experience, as well as dedication to expanding the company and brand.
Dave’s business experience includes co-founding Windward Homes, along with Chad Horne, in 1995. Windward built residences throughout Tampa Bay, Florida and delivered more than 5,000 homes under Dave and Chad’s leadership. In 2006, the team generated 900 homes and approximately $250 million in revenue.
Dave and Chad sold Windward Homes to one of the top 10 public homebuilders in the United States and a Fortune 500 company, K Hovnanian Enterprises, in 2003. Dave retired from Windward Homes in 2007.
Prior to co-founding Windward Homes, Dave was a senior executive of Rutenberg Corporation, a diversified residential development company based in Florida. During his 12 years at Rutenberg, Dave had significant operational responsibilities in all areas of its real estate operations. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
